ENERGY MANAGEMENT
Energy management is a key priority for Trasma, as the company is classified as energy-intensive. We are constantly committed to improving energy efficiency through dedicated technologies and software and the use of energy from renewable sources, reducing our environmental impact while improving operational efficiency.
In 2026, TRASMA achieved ISO 50001 certification, strengthening its systematic approach to energy management. The certification enables the company to continuously monitor and improve energy performance, identify opportunities for greater efficiency, and reduce energy consumption and related environmental impacts.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
Trasma has introduced a management and control system aimed at minimising waste generation and ensuring responsible disposal, helping to mitigate impacts on the ecosystem.
SUSTAINABLE WATER MANAGEMENT
TRASMA has installed water treatment and recycling systems for the water used in its wire drawing processes, helping to reduce environmental impact while ensuring its efficient and responsible use.
CARBON FOOTPRINT REDUCTION
We are adopting cleaner technologies, optimising our processes and actively assessing carbon offsetting programmes to address climate change.
SUPPLY CHAIN SUSTAINABILITY
We have launched a process to assess and improve the environmental performance of our suppliers, promote responsible sourcing and foster sustainability throughout the supply chain.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
We have been ISO 14001:2015 certified since 2010. This system enables us to identify, measure and improve our environmental impact.
