TRA.SMA S.p.A.’s policies, commitments and plans are driven by the objective of achieving customer satisfaction and being a leader in copper wire drawing and tinning, in the production of bare and tinned copper single wire, multiwire and bunched wire, as well as in the design and manufacture of ropes.

TRA.SMA S.p.A. believes that, in its target market, it is essential to provide customers with a HIGH-QUALITY PRODUCT, with a high degree of customisation to meet a wide range of customer requirements. To achieve this, TRA.SMA S.p.A. continuously maintains a Quality Management System compliant with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015+A1:2024 and ensures its continual improvement.

Across its production activities and beyond, TRA.SMA S.p.A. considers it ESSENTIAL to provide high-performance products and services, while recognising the pressing need to respond to the challenges posed by climate change and the opportunity to improve the SUSTAINABILITY and ENERGY EFFICIENCY of its processes and products.

Environmental protection, compliance with applicable health and safety legislation, pollution prevention and the continuous improvement of environmental and energy performance, together with sustainability across all these areas, represent the key challenge for the coming decades. The UNI EN ISO 14001:2015+A1:2024 Environmental Management System and the UNI CEI EN ISO 50001:2018+A1:2024 Energy Management System, integrated with the Quality Management System, are the tools through which Management intends to pursue these objectives.

Continuous monitoring of the organisational context and the needs of interested parties, together with periodic review of risks and the identification of related opportunities, keeps the management system dynamic and up to date, fully integrated into the company’s day-to-day management.

The annual Improvement Plans attached to periodic Management Reviews define specific objectives, the person responsible for their implementation, the resources allocated and the timelines for achievement and monitoring, both to continuously improve the products and services offered and to enhance the management of environmental aspects and reduce their environmental impact, with a focus on sustainability.

By dedicating its commitment to these objectives and taking a direct role in their implementation, Management undertakes to support this policy, communicate it to increase awareness among people working for the organisation, and periodically review its suitability.
