Trasma S.p.A. is taking another concrete step in its journey towards environmental sustainability and industrial responsibility, announcing the installation of a 1 MWh photovoltaic system on the roof of its production plant.
The initiative represents a significant investment not only in technological terms, but above all in terms of long-term vision: a tangible commitment to reducing environmental impact and progressively transitioning towards more sustainable energy models. The energy generated by the system will significantly reduce CO₂ emissions, actively contributing to environmental protection and improving the company’s overall energy efficiency.
This decision is part of a consistent, long-term journey. For more than 25 years, Trasma has operated a trigeneration plant, an advanced solution that simultaneously produces electricity, thermal energy and cooling, optimising consumption and reducing energy waste.
The introduction of the new photovoltaic system further strengthens this approach, demonstrating the company’s ability to adopt and implement innovative solutions and integrate them effectively into its production processes.
Trasma demonstrates that industrial competitiveness and social responsibility can go hand in hand: investing in sustainability means not only reducing energy costs, but also making a tangible contribution to a more balanced, resilient production system that takes future generations into account.
With this initiative, Trasma renews its commitment to turning innovation into action, placing strong values and a long-term vision at the heart of its development.
